365 card challenge - day 209 - Try a Technique

And the technique for today is Sanding. Try sanding on your card to create a distressed look, and try to use it in a big way.

A really wet day here in Southeast Ohio. Traveled out of town with my daughter to a card making party. Everyone there had a lot of fun.

For this card I used paper from the DCWV Spring (2008) Cardstock Stack I ran it through the Cuttle Bug - using the D'vine Swirls folder and then sanded the raised swirls. I used the CTMH Acrylix "Simple Beauty" stamp set for the sentiment on the front of the card. I used a Fiskers corner punch, Making Memories brads, and the ribbon is CTMH.
