Birthday Card
I used paper from Animal Cookies and Indian Corn Blue card stock to border the birthday cake and tag. The cake and sentiment are from CTMH my acrylix Piece of Cake (the February Stamp of the Month) using Indian Corn Blue ink - I attached the tag "Make a Wish" using Sassy Strans. The flower and brad are from my stash.
Thanks for looking at my card.

Celebrate the Occasion -- Patriotic Card
This week, we are getting patriotic! We'll let you interpret that however you would like but your finished project must include stars and/or stripes
I hope you have a fantastic 4th of July weekend.
For this card I used the CTMH "You Rock" paper for the background, CTMH Outdoor Denim cardstock behind the sentiment, and stamped the stars and centiment from the CTMH Everyday Celebration Fall Constant Campaign stamp set using outdoor denim ink. I used CTMH cranberry velvet ribbon for the bow.
Thanks for stopping by and seeing the card I created. Happy 4th of July !

Last Day of School
Here is a layout that I have made using Topstitch paper. The top of the page is cut off, but most of the layout is there. This is 1st grade awards day where the teacher gives all the children an award. The bottom picture is a picture of the students in her classroom after the awards.

Heart2Heart Challenge #6 - A Techie Challenge for You
This week you can create whatever you like but it must include a technique that you can tell us about. Oh, there are tons of techniques - just Google stamping techniques if you need to find one. And we want to see what technique inspires you to create! Don't forget that you must use mostly CTMH products in your artwork.
Here is the card I created using the technique from the Wishes idea book (page 29) using the front and back of stamps.I used the flower from Delightful Things and stamped it with the wrong side of the stamp using Heavenly Blue and then turned the stamp over (the correct way) and stamped with the darker color Dutch Blue. I cut the middle out of the flower and ran the organdy ribbon through the hole and tied a bow. The dark blue cardstock is from the scrap drawer, but matched the dutch blue ink and I ran the white cardstock through the cuttlebug.
Thanks for looking at the card I made for this challenge. I look forward to the challenge for next week.

Heart2Heart Challenge #5
This week we are focusing on cards (or other projects) for Mother's Day. So break out the feminine goodies and create something for Mom to show us!
Here is the card that I made for my Mother using That's Amore Paper. I used a fiskers border punch for the scallop edge and the flower stem is using the "One of a Kind" My Acrylix Stamp Set - Garden Green CTMH Ink. Imade the flower using the new 1 1/4 ' round punch, folded the edges and placed the 3 circles together to form a flower. The small flower in the middle of the flower, the chocolate ribbon and slider are also CTMH.
Thanks for stopping to see my card and Happy Mother's Day!

Heart2Heart Challenge #4
I also love ribbon and brads. Here is the card I made using two different ribbons from the Hollyhock ribbon round. I used two stamp sets: April Stamp of the Month - Flower Pot and the sentiment is from Extreme Happiness. The flowers and the words "Happy Birthday" are stamped with CTMH Hollyhock ink.
Enjoy the rest of your week. Thanks for stopping by.

Heart2HeartChallenge -- Let's Get Sketchy
It's time for a new challenge and we've got a sketch to share this week. Remember that a sketch is just a jumping off point - feel free to interpret it any way you see fit as long as we can recognize that you used the sketch for the basis of your project. Also, a quick reminder to all - Close To My Heart products must be used in our challenges. It does not have to be 100% CTMH, but the majority must be. Ok, now onto the reason you're here! Our challenge for the week is based on the following sketch:
For this challenge, I decided to turn the sketch and here is the card I made. I used two CTMH stamp sets: Intrinsic Backgrounds (CTMH Petal Ink) and So Sweet (CTMH Black ink). I then used a sheer ribbon (not CTMH) and placed a paper flower from Just Blooms in the middle of the inked background (I may sponge the flower - I've never done that so I'm not sure - what do you think) and placed a filigree charm in the middle of the flower.
Thanks for stopping.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge
Most of the items that I used are from CTMH. I am not a CTMH consultant so I will play along with I have the correct product or color. I love the CTMH colors, papers and stamp sets.
Here is the card that I made for this challenge. The card base is from my stash, I stamped one of the flowers from the Acrylix Stamp Set "Enjoy Every Moment" using Sunflower ink, I used chocolate cardstock and a Sweet Leaf ribbon.
Thanks for looking at the card I made for this challenge. Enjoy your weekend.Rebecca
