Father's Day Card

This Father's Day card that I made will be for my husband as my father and father-in-law are both deceased. The deer is from the CTMH Acrylix Stamp Set "Hunting" (retired) using chocolate ink on cream paper and placed on CTMH Brown Bag card stock. The stripe paper is from the CTMH paper packet called "Passages".

Thanks for looking at my card.

Heart2Heart Challenge: Stamp Your Own Background:

Here is the card I made for the Heart2Heart Challenge. I used a cream card base and put Ocean Cardstock on it. I punched the bottom edge using a fiskers border punch. The background is from the State of Mind stamp set using desert sand ink. I stamped a flower from the One of a Kind stamp set using ocean ink for the flower with a sparkle in the middle and the leaves and stem is topiary ink.
Enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day weekend and thanks for looking at my card.

Hot Diggity

Heart2Heart Challenge #7 - Week of May 17, 2010 - This week's challenge is a color challenge and maybe one that will make you think. We are working with Ocean, Topiary and Desert Sand (and of course a neutral like cream, white or black).
The little frog on the new Hot Diggity acrylix stamp set is so cute -- I stamped it using the CTMH Topiary stamp pad on cream cardstock . I stamped "Hot Diggity" using the CTMH Desert Sand stamp pad. Ocean and Desert Sand cardstocks are used on the cream card base.

Thanks for looking at my card for this challenge.

Heart2Heart Challenge #6 - A Techie Challenge for You

Heart 2 Heart Challenge #6

This week you can create whatever you like but it must include a technique that you can tell us about. Oh, there are tons of techniques - just Google stamping techniques if you need to find one. And we want to see what technique inspires you to create! Don't forget that you must use mostly CTMH products in your artwork.

Here is the card I created using the technique from the Wishes idea book (page 29) using the front and back of stamps.I used the flower from Delightful Things and stamped it with the wrong side of the stamp using Heavenly Blue and then turned the stamp over (the correct way) and stamped with the darker color Dutch Blue. I cut the middle out of the flower and ran the organdy ribbon through the hole and tied a bow. The dark blue cardstock is from the scrap drawer, but matched the dutch blue ink and I ran the white cardstock through the cuttlebug.

Thanks for looking at the card I made for this challenge. I look forward to the challenge for next week.

Heart2Heart Challenge #5

It's A Mother's Day Challenge at Heart2Heart Challenges:

This week we are focusing on cards (or other projects) for Mother's Day. So break out the feminine goodies and create something for Mom to show us!

Here is the card that I made for my Mother using That's Amore Paper. I used a fiskers border punch for the scallop edge and the flower stem is using the "One of a Kind" My Acrylix Stamp Set - Garden Green CTMH Ink. Imade the flower using the new 1 1/4 ' round punch, folded the edges and placed the 3 circles together to form a flower. The small flower in the middle of the flower, the chocolate ribbon and slider are also CTMH.

Thanks for stopping to see my card and Happy Mother's Day!
