365 Card Challenge - Day 159 - August 6, 2009 - Setting the Scene - Indoors

Today I challenge you to create a scene on your card. In March, I posted a similar challenge, which was to create a nature scene. This time I'm looking for something indoors. Use stamps, stickers, fussy cutting, whatever you wish as long as it creates a scene.Here is my indoor scene - I used paper from my stash. The brown paper on the bottom of the card looks like a wooden floor, even though you can't really see that in the picture. I used the Hello Kitty cricut cartridge and I used a studio G stamp for "Get Well Soon". Hope you like this card and thanks for stopping by.

365 Card Challenge - Day 158 - August 5, 2009 - What's Your Sign

Today's challenge is not referring to an astrological sign, but rather about creating a sign on your card. You can use a stamp, patterned paper, or create a sign out of the card.

I used green card stock from my stash for the card base and ran it through the cuttlebug using the new herringbone folder. The owl and phrase on the sign are using the CTMH You're a Hoot stamp set.

365 Challenge - Day 157 - August 4, 2009 - Imagine This Sunflowers

Today's challenge is all about sunflowers. It's not necessary that you have a sunflower on your card, as long as it is inspired by a sunflower.

I once again used papers and ribbon from my stash. The sunflowers are cut using the Stretch your Imagaination Cricut cartridge I then put dots of CTMH liquid glass on the middle of the sunflowers. I used a Fiskers punch along the brown edge. Thanks for taking a look at this card.

365 Card Challenge - Day 156 - August 3, 2009 - Ad Inspired

Today's challenge is an ad inspired from Gloria. Here is the ad she chose:I had a difficult time with this challenge. I changed my mind many times and finally settled on this one. It's not really what I would like it to be, but it will have to do. All the papers, flowers and brads are from my stash. The brown paper actually looks like burlap, but you can't tell from the picture. Thanks for taking a look at my attempt at this challenge.

I used paper from an old DCWV stack that I had and thought about making a fall card. I cut out the leaf using the cuttlebug and inked it. Used brads in the corners from my stash.

365 Card Challenge - Day 154 - August 1, 2009 - Plains, Trains, and Automobiles

Today's challenge is all about modes of transportation. Anything goes as long as you include a plane, train, or automobile (and I think technically a bicycle is a mode of transportation, so it should count) on your card.
I used the Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper stack. I inked the train using CTMH ink and used a CTMH marker around the wheels. The train and the words "Welcome" "Little One" are cut using the Cricut New Arrival Cartridge. The ribbon is from my stash and the little hearts in the train car are using a paper punch that I have. I hope you like this card. I think it turned out pretty.

365 card challenge - Day 153 - July 31, 2009 - Tag, You're It

I see these cute little journaling tags everywhere, even on cards, so I thought it would be fun to present this challenge to you. You can use an actual tag or you can use a sticker, rub-on or stamp that is meant to be used as a journaling tag.

Here is a card I made using items from my stash: cream color card base, papers, buttons and ribbon. The tag is a Friendly Forest journaling tag.
